Improving console experience for Database Admins
I joined Zeeshan's Team in 2020. Part of DBaaS Team for OCI, primary use case designing the Database console for Database Admin and fleet Admin, working closely with Product Manager & UI Developer to deliver a seamless flow for upcoming cloud features.
In comparison to the likes of AWS, We design with HgDS and RDS design system to illustrate the design flow. Our goal is to solve the end user problem of Database Console user.

Designing for Cloud Console OCI Database Admin journeys has taught me to solve for complex systems outside just the digital space.

Redesigning existing IA and redesiged based on RDS. Reimagined the core parts of the Database Admin journey.
Explored a cleaner visual language while incorporating key use cases.

Takeaways from this role
- Defining the problem and the scope early on is key
- Going broad with ideas is helpful but tracking progress is necessary
